Included in the Fostering Success Program:
An eight-day program that takes place two weeks prior to the start of the fall semester. Summer Bridge gives students an opportunity to familiarize themselves with campus before their classes begin and teaches students the ins and outs of being a successful IUPUI Jaguar. Learn more about Summer Bridge.
A fall course just for program students that is designed to help them successfully transition to college, connect to the campus, and develop their academic skill set. Learn more about first-year seminars.
A highly skilled undergraduate student works with program students inside and outside of their first-year seminar course to ensure that students are handling the transition to college well and are meeting their academic goals.
A program coordinator meets individually with each student to provide professional and holistic support and guidance.
The program will periodically provide experiences beyond the classroom such as workshops, cultural events, excursions, and retreats.
This program is made possible by the Nina Mason Pulliam Charitable Trust and IUPUI.
